Erdem leads Başgül’s project finance and arbitration practices. Before founding Başgül, Erdem worked at Turkish offices of SNR Denton and White&Case. Erdem’s focus has been on energy and infrastructure sectors, and he has led landmark project finance deals and complex arbitration matters.
Aşkın Karaduman

Aşkın leads Başgül’s corporate, M&A and IP practices. He is a seasoned M&A practitioner who worked at SNR Denton’s İstanbul offices and well-reputed local firms. Aşkın represented major international and domestic corporations in complex cross-border transactions and advised prominent investment banks.
Meriç Bahçıvancı

Meriç is the head of litigation, employment, and insolvency practices at Başgül. Meriç brings a decade of solid experience in employment, real estate, and construction disputes to the firm. He is also a renowned expert in debt collection and insolvency proceedings.
Ali Topuz

Ali, alongside his independent practice, leads Başgül’s sports department. During his career, Ali has represented prominent clubs, athletes, and coaches in landmark disputes before national courts as well as TFF, FIFA DRC and CAS. He has represented high profile clients during contract negotiations at national and international level.
